Caitlin Clark brushes aside 'surprising' offensive fouls called on her despite an obvious Aces flop
Caitlin Clark got whistled for an offensive foul during the Indiana Fever's loss to the Las Vegas Aces on Wednesday, but even when it's "surprising" as she said, she knows teams like the Aces are going to be physical with her.
While talking about the Aces' physical defenders, she paused, chuckled and said this: "The offensive fouls are definitely surprising at times. I feel like I do get held and get quite a bit of contact throughout the game, and then you get hit with some of those, you take some contact, you give some contact back. It is what it is."
That's the attitude. No use in pressing further.
CC, on the physicality of Aces guards (and when refs call offensive fouls): “the offensive fouls are definitely surprising at times. Here's the foul in question, which definitely looked like a little flop:

Weird that it was called against Clark esp when Aces got away with these exact calls at the other end.
