Caeden Carlisle Commits To Notre Dame
Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds defenseman Caeden Carlisle has committed to Notre Dame, it was announced last week.
Carlisle, a product of Mississauga, Ont., is in his fourth season with the Greyhounds, having collected 11 assists in 31 games so far this year.
Drafted by the Greyhounds in the fifth round of the 2020 OHL Priority Selection, Carlisle has played in 211 career regular season games, accumulating 14 goals and 60 points. In an additional 20 career playoff games, he has posted one goal and five points.
Joining the Fighting Irish next season, Carlisle should have the ability to step into the lineup and play a solid two-way game. He has the ability to create with the puck as well as defend in his own end.
