Burton sign Burnley left-back Dodgson on loan
League One bottom side Burton Albion have signed Burnley left-back Owen Dodgson on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old is the first signing made by Brewers boss Gary Bowyer, who took the helm at the Pirelli Stadium in December.
On his arrival, Bowyer said signings would be needed to reshape his side for the battle to avoid relegation despite the club making an English-record 23 additions in the summer transfer window.
Dodgson - a former Manchester United youth player, who joined Burnley in November 2020 - has had previous loan spells with Barnsley and Rochdale, as well as Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.
"I spoke to the gaffer and we had some very positive conversations, so now I'm just really excited to join and give my all for the club," Dodgson told the Brewers' website.
