Bryce Harper's Socks the Key to His Success?

Ask Wade Boggs about chicken, Nomar Garciaparra about his batting gloves and just about everyone when it comes to stepping on the foul lines.

For Bryce Harper it’s about his wardrobe.

Kenny Ducey of the site ‘Hashtag Important” has compiled the all-star’s stats when he wears baggy pants, high socks and stirrups.

When he wears high socks, his numbers jump off the page. A batting average that is 71 points higher and an OPS that is off the charts.

Of course, it's a smaller sample size but notice the Nationals winning percentage when Harper dons the high socks.

Maybe it’s time for Harper to hang up the pants.
