Roma’s complicated start to the season and the rumored argument with Daniele De Rossi during training had called into question his role.

But, despite the rumors of a possible transfer and the arrival of Manu Koné from Gladbach, the 29-year-old midfielder will remain with the Giallorossi.

This will be Cristante’s seventh season in the Italian capital.
