One interesting trio of forwards Montgomery had skating together could be what the Bruins' first line will be this season. Newcomer Elias Lindholm skated at center with David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha on his wings.
This has the potential to be an excellent line. Lindholm's strong two-way play and passing ability could make him a good center to have on a line with Pastrnak and Zacha. In addition, Pastrnak and Zacha already have outstanding chemistry, so adding a skilled center like Lindholm to the trio could greatly benefit the Bruins.
When the Bruins signed Lindholm, many wondered about the possibility of him playing with Pastrnak and Zacha. Clearly, Montgomery sees this line as a potential match, and it will be intriguing to see if the Bruins use it during the regular season. Now is the perfect time for Lindholm, Pastrnak, and Zacha to form chemistry on a line together.
