Bruins Tough Guy Beats Up Oilers' Corey Perry
The Boston Bruins showed little energy during the second period of their game against the Edmonton Oilers, but Trent Frederic certainly did his part to try to wake them up.

Frederic dropped the gloves with Oilers forward Corey Perry at center ice and won the fight decisively. Without much surprise, the Bruins fans at TD Garden erupted in response to Frederic's clear win.

Frederic was determined to fight Perry, too, as he continued to push the veteran until he agreed to drop the gloves.
Frederic is known for his toughness, and he showed it off during this fight with Perry. He did, however, go back to the room after exiting the penalty box.
