Bruins Top Prospect Dominating The AHL Right Now

At the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, the Boston Bruins selected Fabian Lysell as the 21st overall pick. Since then, the 21-year-old winger has been working on his game, and he is starting to hit a new level down in the AHL with the Providence Bruins.

In 30 games this season with Providence, Lysell has six goals and 21 points. Overall, it has been a decent season for the youngster, but he has been on a real tear as of late. In his last five games with Providence, he has two goals and seven points. This includes scoring a goal in Providence's latest contest against the Springfield Thunderbirds on Jan. 11.

Seeing Lysell starting to dominate in the AHL is incredibly encouraging. He is one of the Bruins' most promising prospects and has the potential to blossom into a key forward for Boston. Given how well he is playing in Providence right now, he is making a real case for himself to get another shot on Boston's NHL roster.
