Now, Poitras has extended his streak to seven games, as he scored an excellent goal against the Phantoms.
While Providence was on the power play, Poitras one-timed a perfect feed from Georgii Merkulov past Phantoms goalie Cal Petersen.

With this, Poitras now has seven goals and 12 points over his last seven games. This is incredible production from the young forward, and one has to wonder if a call-up to the Boston Bruins' roster could be in his near future.
