Bruins Surging Prospect Just Can't Stop Scoring
The Providence Bruins picked up a nice 5-2 win over the Hartford Wolf Pack on Sunday (Dec. 15). Without much surprise, Matthew Poitras played a significant role in the win.

Poitras scored a goal and added an assist against Hartford. With this, he has extended his goal streak to an impressive six games. In addition, he now has 11 points over his last seven games.
Poitras' goal was a beauty, too, as he one-timed a nice feed from teammate Vinni Lettieri past Hartford goaltender Louis Domingue.

It is clear that Poitras is really feeling it with the Providence right now, and he is showing no signs of slowing down. Perhaps it could be enough for the Boston Bruins to give him another shot on the NHL roster soon.
