Here is what No. 88 said about Montgomery being fired, as reported by 98.5 The Sports Hub's Ty Anderson:

"We weren't getting the job done, and because we weren’t getting it done, we lost a great coach and a great human being."

It is hard to disagree with Pastrnak's statement. The Bruins' all-around poor play this season was the primary reason Montgomery was let go by the Original Six. Now, Pastrnak and the Bruins will try to turn things around with Joe Sacco as their bench boss.
