With this goal, Marchand has extended his point streak to nine games. Over that span, the 36-year-old winger has six goals and 10 points.

Seeing Marchand consistently producing offense is excellent news for a Bruins club looking to jump up in the standings. Before this hot streak, the 2006 third-round pick was in a bit of funk, posting four points in his previous nine games. However, he has gotten through this and is simply dominating now.

Due to his hot stretch of play, Marchand now has a team-leading 14 goals and is second on the Bruins with 27 points in 35 games. Seeing how he builds on this excellent play from here will be fascinating.
