While speaking to reporters, head coach Joe Sacco shared that star defenseman Charlie McAvoy will once again not be in the lineup against the Sharks.
McAvoy, 27, has not played since the Bruins' Jan. 11 contest against the Florida Panthers due to an ongoing injury. The Bruins have undoubtedly missed him, as he is their best defenseman. However, they will now be without him for another contest at least with this latest update from Sacco.
McAvoy has appeared in 45 games this season with the Bruins, where he has five goals, 20 points, 77 blocks, and 86 hits.
