Bruins Star Dominating Again At Perfect Time
The Boston Bruins picked up an extremely impressive 6-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning last night. Jeremy Swayman undoubtedly was a significant reason behind the Bruins' much-needed victory.

Swayman put together a spectacular start against the Lightning, saving 43 out of 45 shots he faced. While the Lightning had far more scoring chances than the Bruins as the game rolled on, Swayman stood on his head and put together one of his best performances of the campaign.
This excellent start against the Bolts came after Swayman's great appearance against the Florida Panthers on Jan. 11, too. The Anchorage, Alaska native stopped 40 out of 43 shots he faced against Florida to help break the Bruins' previous six-game losing streak.
Swayman heating up indeed could not have come at a better time for the Bruins. After their brutal stretch, the Bruins are in a tight Eastern Conference wild-card race. The Ottawa Senators, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Montreal Canadiens are just a few of the teams right behind the Bruins, so they need as many wins as possible right now. Swayman getting back to his elite form would undoubtedly help with that.
We will now need to wait and see how Swayman builds on his hot stretch of play from here.
