Bruins Star Breaks The Ice Big Time

It is no secret that the start of Elias Lindholm's tenure with the Boston Bruins has not been the best. While this is the case, he stepped up big time against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night (Dec. 18) and put together a strong night.

Lindholm scored his first goal in 11 games in the Bruins' win, with his last being on Nov. 21 against the Utah Hockey Club. In addition, he also added an assist, and this was his first multi-point game since Nov. 27 against the New York Islanders.

Lindholm's goal was a nice one, too. After blocking a Nazem Kadri shot in the defensive zone, Lindholm received a great feed from Brad Marchand before beating Flames goalie Dustin Wolf.

Lindholm's assist was also important, as it was on Marc McLaughlin's game-tying goal that forced overtime. From there, David Pastrnak would score the OT winner to complete the comeback.

With this big night, Lindholm now has four goals and 16 points in 33 games and three points over his last two games.
