DiPietro, on the other hand, was called up to Boston's roster on Jan. 23 before the club's game against Ottawa. He served as Joonas Korpisalo's backup with Jeremy Swayman out due to an injury. In 22 games this season with Providence, he has a 14-5-3 record, a .930 save percentage, and a 1.95 goals-against average.
