Korpisalo, 30, last played on Jan. 5 against the New York Islanders. It was a tough performance for the 2012 third-round pick, as he allowed five goals in 37 shots. This was after he gave up six goals on 33 shots against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Dec. 27.
Korpisalo will now look to bounce back after his two rough starts and secure a win against the Sharks. In 14 games this season, he has a 7-4-2 record, a 2.86 goals-against average, and a .892 save percentage.
