Yahoo Sports Bruins President Provides Latest Jeremy Swayman Update
The Boston Bruins have made several moves this summer, but they still have a massive one to complete - re-signing Jeremy Swayman. At the time of this writing, the Anchorage, Alaska native remains a restricted free agent.

While Bruins fans may be concerned that Swayman still lacks a contract, president Cam Neely appears to be quite calm about the matter.
During a recent appearance on "The Rich Shertenlieb Show," Neely had this to say:
"Something will get done. There's no question. Not every negotiation is as smooth as you'd like it. I know our fan base would like something done by now, but I'm fully confident both sides will come to an agreement before too long here."

It is refreshing to hear Neely possess such high confidence that Swayman's new deal will come to fruition. With the Bruins trading Linus Ullmark earlier this offseason, they officially committed to Swayman being their true No. 1 goalie from here on out. Thus, getting this contract finalized is critical for the Bruins' success.
Swayman, 24, appeared in 44 regular-season games this past season with the Bruins, recording a 25-10-8 record, a 2.53 goals-against average (GAA), a .916 save percentage (SV%), and three shutouts. During the postseason, he had a .933 SV% and a 2.15 GAA.
