Although the Bruins are trending in the right direction, it is clear that they still have one big wish for Christmas this year – acquiring another top-six forward before the 2025 NHL trade deadline passes.
While the Bruins have shown some improvement offensively as of late, it is clear that they could use another impactful top-six forward on their roster. They were unable to find a proper replacement for Jake DeBrusk this off-season, and they should look to change that by the deadline.
Some notable forwards who have created trade chatter this season include Chris Kreider (New York Rangers), Brock Nelson (New York Islanders), Taylor Hall (Chicago Blackhawks), Rickard Rakell (Pittsburgh Penguins), Mikael Granlund (San Jose Sharks), and Frank Vatrano (Anaheim Ducks).
It will be fascinating to see if the Bruins can fulfill their Christmas wish by the trade deadline from here.
