Bruins Make Massive Changes To Lines At Practice

The Boston Bruins suffered an ugly loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. After having a 5-3 lead in the final minutes of the third, the Bruins blew it and lost in the shootout.

After the Bruins' brutal loss, head coach Joe Sacco made some serious changes to the club's lines at practice.

After being scratched last game, Oliver Wahlstrom skated on the first line at practice. Morgan Geekie also moved down the middle, while David Pastrnak played at right wing.

The second line also had a new look, as Matt Poitras centered Vinni Lettieri and Brad Marchand. Meanwhile, the Bruins' most expensive summer signing, Elias Lindholm, was dropped to the third line, with Charlie Coyle and Trent Frederic as his wingers.

The Bruins' fourth line of Justin Brazeau, John Beecher, and Mark Kastelic remained together at practice.

On defense, Andrew Peeke was promoted to the top pairing, with Nikita Zadorov as his partner. With this, Brandon Carlo skated on the second pairing with Parker Wotherspoon.
