For this matchup against the Sabres, the Bruins' forward group will be getting a boost. This is because forward Cole Koepke will be back in the lineup after missing each of the Bruins' last five games.
On defense, the Bruins will be even more shorthanded, however. Brandon Carlo will be out due to an illness. In addition, head coach Joe Sacco confirmed Charlie McAvoy and Hampus Lindholm will still be out of the lineup against the Sabres.
Here are the Bruins' projected lines now.
Forwards
Morgan Geekie, Pavel Zacha, David Pastrnak
Brad Marchand, Matt Poitras, Charlie Coyle
Trent Frederic, Elias Lindholm, Vinni Lettieri
Cole Koepke, John Beecher, Justin Brazeau
Defensemen
Nikita Zadorov & Andrew Peeke
Michael Callahan & Jordan Oesterle
Mason Lohrei & Parker Wotherspoon
