Bruins forward Morgan Geekie played a significant role in the win, scoring a goal and recording an assist. With this strong night, the 6-foot-3 forward now has eight goals and 16 points in 33 games this season.
This is only Geekie's latest excellent game. The 2017 third-round pick has been playing marvelously lately, posting four points over his last four contests. He also has four goals and seven points in his previous seven games.
Geekie has gotten his season back on track with this hot stretch of play. The beginning of the 2024-25 campaign was disastrous for him, as he had zero points in his first six games and just four in his first 18 contests. Since then, he has 12 points in his last 15 games.
It will now be interesting to see if Geekie can maintain his strong offensive play from here. If he does, Boston will benefit significantly from it.
