Bruins Have Fascinating Trade Target From Canadiens
The Boston Bruins currently sport a 20-15-4 record and are third in the Atlantic Division. After a brutal start to the season, they have gotten things back on track, and the expectation is that they will be buyers this season because of it.

When looking at potential trade targets around the NHL, the Montreal Canadiens offer a very interesting one in forward Jake Evans.
Evans, 28, is enjoying a career year with the Habs this season. In 37 games, the 6-foot center has 10 goals and 23 points. With numbers like these, the Toronto, Ontario native could be a strong addition to the Bruins' bottom six and overall center depth.
When looking at the Bruins' lineup right now, Evans could slot in nicely as their third-line center if acquired. However, he could also provide the Bruins' fourth line with a bit more offense. In addition, due to his solid defensive play, he would give Boston another option for their power play.
Evans is a pending unrestricted free agent on a Habs team that currently does not hold a playoff spot. Thus, he may become available if this remains true near the deadline, and the Bruins should make a major push for him if he does. Boston and Montreal trades are rare, but Evans could be an excellent fit for the Bruins.
