Bruins Should Give Exciting Forward Big Opportunity
After failing to record a single shot in the third period against the Ottawa Senators, it seems very likely that the Boston Bruins will once again be changing up their forward lines.
One duo that should not break up is David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha. They have been getting on the scoresheet while playing together. However, one interesting move that head coach Jim Montgomery should consider trying is switching Tyler Johnson off their line for Matthew Poitras.
Poitras is a young forward known for his offensive skill and playmaking ability. Because of this, he could find success centering the top line with Zacha and Pastrnak. With the way the Bruins' offense is going right now, it would not hurt to give Poitras another look in the top six.
Like many Bruins forwards, Poitras has struggled as of late, as he has not recorded a point in four straight games. Perhaps playing with a superstar like Pastrnak could help the promising forward heat back up.
