Boston Bruins blueliner Parker Wotherspoon is known for being a stay-at-home defenseman. However, he showed off his offensive skill in the Bruins' latest matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

During the first period of the Bruins' contest against the Lightning, Wotherspoon scored his first career NHL goal, and it was a real beauty.
After receiving a feed from Bruins superstar David Pastrnak, Wotherspoon beat Lightning star goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy top shelf with an excellent wrist shot.

It took Wotherspoon 76 games to get his first NHL goal, but it was worth the wait. It was an amazing goal from the defensive defenseman.
