Bruins Could Make Trade To "Trigger" Team
While on SC with Jay Onrait, NHL insider Pierre LeBrun said that the Boston Bruins could make a trade if they do not turn things around under new head coach Joe Sacco.

Here is what LeBrun said on the matter:
"Don Sweeney has been calling around to gauge the market. If this team doesn't get out of this funk and doesn't find that spark under Joe Sacco, I think you will see an attempt to trigger this team through a trade."
The Bruins certainly feel due for a move, as this roster just isn't cutting it right now. At this juncture of the season, they have an 8-9-3 record. They also are trending in the wrong direction, losing each of their last three games. These include a 5-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets and a 7-2 defeat to the Dallas Stars.
It is abundantly clear that the Bruins' biggest priority should be to bring in a top-six forward. However, given their limited cap space, a move earlier in the season would likely require them to send at least one NHL roster player the other way.
No matter the case, if the Bruins continue to underachieve, we will need to wait and see if a notable move occurs.
