Bruins Coach Livid After Team's Latest Awful Loss

The Boston Bruins hit another new low in their 3-2 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators, failing to record a shot in the third period. Naturally, the players are frustrated, and the same can be said about head coach Jim Montgomery.

After the game, Montgomery was clearly angry with how the Bruins played. Here is what Boston's bench boss said to reporters:

"It's up for you guys to figure that out and come up with a reason. We just weren't good enough. You guys can write what you guys think is the malaise on the team and what's going wrong. We're just not playing good enough."

Montgomery is certainly correct that the Bruins are not playing well enough. At this juncture of the season, they have a 7-7-2 record, which is immensely underwhelming for a team that viewed itself as a contender before the start of the season.

It will be interesting to see if Montgomery can lead the Bruins past this rough start to the season. If things do not turn around soon, we could see some big changes occur.
