If the Bruins start to heat up and elect to add at the deadline, they have an intriguing option worth considering in Vancouver Canucks star Brock Boeser.

Boeser has been starting to create chatter in the rumor mill, as the Canucks are struggling this season, and the 2015 first-round pick is a pending unrestricted free agent. With the Bruins needing more scoring in their top six, he could be an excellent player for them to bring in at the deadline.

However, if the Bruins decide not to add at the deadline, Boeser could still be a great player for them to pursue if he hits the free-agent market on July 1. This scenario could be the better out of the two for Boston, as they would not need to give up any assets to land him.

If the Bruins added Boeser, he would be a great answer for their hole at the second-line right wing spot. In addition, given his offensive skill, he would undoubtedly give Boston's power play a boost.

Boeser, 27, has 16 goals and 33 points in 43 games this season with the Canucks. This is after he had 40 goals and 73 points in 81 contests with Vancouver in 2023-24.
