Bruins Big Forward Out For Sabres Matchup
Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco told reporters that forward Oliver Wahlstrom will not be traveling with the team for their Jan. 28 contest against the Buffalo Sabres due to an illness. With this, the 24-year-old forward will not be in the lineup against Buffalo.

Wahlstrom last played for the Bruins on Jan. 22 against the New Jersey Devils, where he had one shot in 9:36 of ice time.
Wahlstrom, 24, has appeared in 39 games this season split between the New York Islanders and Bruins, posting three goals, three assists, and a minus-6 rating. In 12 games since being claimed off waivers by the Bruins, the 6-foot-2 winger has one goal and one assist.
In addition to Wahlstrom, Charlie McAvoy, Hampus Lindholm, and Mark Kastelic will remain out against the Sabres due to their injuries.
