While speaking to reporters, Bruins head coach Joe Sacco shared that Joonas Korpisalo will be the team's starting goalie against the Islanders.
Seeing Korpisalo get the start against the Islander is understandable. With Jeremy Swayman just playing against the Islanders last night, it makes sense that the Bruins are going with a well-rested Korpisalo tonight.
Korpisalo last played on Dec. 27 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, where he allowed six goals on 33 shots. He will now look to have a strong bounce-back performance and pick up a win from here.
