The Bruins' opening night roster is full of newcomers, as depth signings like Cole Koepke, Max Jones, and Riley Tufte made the cut. In addition, the Bruins' big summer additions of Nikita Zadorov and Elias Lindholm are, of course, on the roster. They should be a real treat to watch.
After signing his eight-year contract with the Bruins yesterday (Oct. 6), Jeremy Swayman is thankfully on Boston's opening night roster. Head coach Jim Montgomery did not rule out the possibility of the Alaska native starting opening night. If he does not, Joonas Korpisalo will make his regular-season debut for the B's.
Matthew Poitras, Ian Mitchell, and Alec Regula have been named injured non-roster players.
