Brook Lopez, Conor McGregor size each other up at Bucks game
Fighters gonna fight, but Conor McGregor might have bitten off more than he can chew when he asked to size up Brook Lopez courtside at the Bucks game on Monday night. The hilarious moment came in the second quarter when McGregor was doing the round and saying hello to everyone. He then stopped at Lopez, exchanged some words, before Lopez stood up and towered over him in comical fashion.

More on this storyline
The Bucks want the three-point shot to remain a proficient way of scoring and there’s no doubt that it’s Lillard’s shot to take freely. Rivers said that he asks nothing of Lillard when it comes to where he can fire from long range, whether it’s a 24-, 26- or 28-footer and beyond. “Him and Brook − I think they're having a competition working: who can make the furthest three?” Rivers said. “They both shoot them easy, but Dame’s range ... when you think about his size and how deep he can shoot, and it’s easy for him − it’s pretty amazing.” -via Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel / January 25, 2025
The fact is, the Bucks are trying to keep themselves in check a little bit. Playing with emotion − and playing with ruffled feathers and ragged nerves are two very different head and mind spaces. Evidence: the 2024 first-round playoff dismissal at the hands of the Indiana Pacers. “We talked about it as a team; on the Indiana series, emotionally, I thought we didn’t handle that well at times,” Rivers said. “Brook, when he goes, he goes. I think he’s only had one maybe, where he’s completely lost his Stanford mind. But he’s aware of it. He’s just been in a great place. I think he loves his team, and he knows all those things help.” -via Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel / January 21, 2025
Eric Nehm: FINAL: Bucks 123, Sixers 109 - Antetokounmpo 34pts/15reb/6ast - Lillard 25pts/5reb/4ast - Middleton 13pts/5reb/8ast (24min) - Lopez 12pts/7reb/3ast/2blk - Prince 11pts/2reb The Bucks are now 24-17. This is the first time they've been 7 games over .500 this season. -via x.com / January 19, 2025
