Brett Rypien, Collin Johnson connect for Bears' first TD of preseason

It was tough sledding to start, but the Chicago Bears have scored their first touchdown of the preseason in Thursday's Pro Football Hall of Fame Game against the Houston Texans.

After the Texans jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead, a Brett Rypien-led Bears offense managed to cut the lead to one score.

Running back Khalil Herbert gashed Houston on a couple big runs (of nine and 19 yards), setting up a play action play just outside the red zone. Rypien planted his feet after the fake and found an open Colin Johnson, who made the twisting catch to secure Chicago's first touchdown of the preseason.

Johnson's touchdown made up for a bad drop earlier in the drive.
