Brest consider move for Layvin Kurzawa

According to a report by Foot Mercato, Layvin Kurzawa (31) is ready to join Stade Brestois but the club are moving slowly to finalise the deal.

After almost a decade, Kurzawa left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract in July. The fullback had held one of the more lucrative contracts in the league but had rarely featured in recent seasons for the French champions. Last season, Kurzawa played only eight minutes of football for Les Parisiens which came in October (enough for the defender to earn his fifth Ligue 1 title at the club).

The defender has been looking for a new club this summer with Foot Mercato reporting that Al-Wakrah in Qatar and Famalicão in Portugal are interested in the defender. Brest are an other option, and Kurzawa is keen to join after speaking with manager Eric Roy and would be willing to take a pay cut for the move. However, the club have been slow to sign the player with the club considering multiple transfer targets.
