🚨 Brentford confirm signing of highly-rated defender

Brentford have confirmed the loan signing of Fiorentina defender Michael Kayode on an initial loan deal with an option to buy the defender in the summer.

The 20-year-old defender, who has made 12 appearances for Fiorentina this season so far, is expected to replace Mads Roerslev at the G-Tech Stadium, with Wolfsburg pursuing a deal for the Brentford man.

"I’m so excited because I wanted to come here so much,” said the Italy youth international to the club's official website.

“I think Brentford is the perfect club for me. I love the stadium, the fans and my team-mates."
