Brennan Othmann Making Positive Strides In Recovery From Injury

Finally, there is some positive news for the New York Rangers.

According to Mollie Walker of The New York Post, Brennan Othmann shed the cast he’d been wearing on his wrist and skated in a non-contact jersey with the Hartford Wolf Pack.

At the end of October, Othmann suffered an upper-body injury that was originally supposed to keep him out 4-6 weeks.

However, the 21-year-old’s timeline to return was extended until around Christmas.

The fact that Othmann is back on the ice is certainly a positive development though as all signs are pointing toward the young forward making a return sooner rather than later.

Last season, Othmann played 67 games where he recorded 21 goals, 28 assists and 49 points in The American Hockey League.
