Othmann suffered this injury during the Hartford Wolf Pack’s Saturday night game against the Bridgeport Islanders.
The Rangers drafted Othmann with the 16th overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and he is currently one of the team’s top offensive prospects.
The 21-year-old has played just three total games for the Rangers as he continues his development.
Othmann had an opportunity to make the opening night roster for the Rangers this season, but he was sent back down to the American Hockey League after playing in every preseason game.
Through three games, Othmann has recorded two goals, three assists and five points.
