BREAKING: Sharks' William Eklund Leaves Game Against Canucks

William Eklund didn't come out with the San Jose Sharks for the second period during Monday's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

Per the team, Eklund hasn't been officially ruled out of the game and is deemed questionable to return. Eklund scored the Sharks first goal on the power play but was hit hard by Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers shortly before.

Shortly after this hit, Eklund was tripped, putting the San Jose Sharks on a two-man advantage. He would hit a terrific one-timer for his 7th goal of the season.

If Eklund misses the rest of the game, head coach Ryan Warsofsky hopes to have an update after the game. Eklund played 7:39 in the first period.
