Toffoli leads all Sharks players with 17 goals this season and has found chemistry with Macklin Celebrini and William Eklund. Toffoli has two goals and four points in the last two games.
Collin Graf will enter the lineup and could skate in Toffoli's vacated spot.
An illness has entered the Sharks locker room, causing other players, including Timothy Liljegren, to be game-time decisions. Liljegren is also not in the lineup.
