Yahoo Sports Brad Marchand Loves Playing With This Bruins Forward
The Boston Bruins made multiple changes to their roster this offseason. Because of this, the Bruins have some spots to fight for in their lineup. The second-line right wing is easily the most notable spot that is vacant for the Bruins.

One player who is a prime candidate for the second-line right spot is Morgan Geekie. If Geekie ends up winning the role at the start of the season, captain Brad Marchand certainly won't have any issues playing on a line with him.

While recently speaking to reporters, including The Athletic's Fluto Shinzawa, Marchand sent some big praise Geekie's way:
"I love playing with Geeks. He’s so great in some of the different areas, the way he can hold onto pucks and makes plays. Shoots it. Great in the corners. I think he really complements our line as well. We haven’t had a ton of reps together, so we’ll continue to work on it. But I’ve always really liked his game.”
Based on Marchand's comments, it certainly seems that he would be happy if Geekie becomes his new linemate on the second line. When noting that Geekie is coming off a breakout season for the Bruins, giving him some reps in the top six could be worth trying out.
We will now need to wait and see if Geekie and Marchand end up being linemates this season from here.
