Bowling Green's punter threw a dart on a fake punt for a 68 Ventures Bowl TD
Bowling Green punter John Henderson isn't just good at special teams.
Apparently, he's got a rocket of an arm, too.
During Thursday night's 68 Ventures Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, the Falcons attempted a fake punt against Arkansas State on fourth and 20 by having Henderson just chuck it downfield once he got the long snap and hope a Bowling Green player was ready.
Well, Falcons wide receiver Malcolm Johnson Jr. was wide open right near the end zone when he hauled in Henderson's pass and ran it in for the 43-yard touchdown.
When it comes to special teams trick plays, having a punter with throwing ability like Henderson clearly comes in handy. What a play.
