Bournemouth sign Julián Araujo from Barcelona

Bournemouth have agreed a deal to sign Barcelona defender Julián Araujo in a deal worth €10m (£8.4m), the club have confirmed.

The Mexican defender spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan with Las Palmas, where he appeared 28 times in all competitions.

Still just 22-years-old, the former MLS defender is now Premier League bound, with the Cherries picking him up this summer.

He has signed a five-year deal on the South Coast and could feature in their Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest.
