Bournemouth complete record deal for Brazilian striker

Bournemouth have officially completed the signing of Brazil international Evanilson from Porto.

The striker becomes the club’s record signing for a total of £31.7m, with an additional £8.5m in add-ons.

Evanilson replaces Dominic Solanke, who made the move to Tottenham earlier this month for a deal worth £65m.

The 24-year-old scored 37 goals in 96 senior appearances for Porto, after arriving from Fluminense in 2020.

The club have also confirmed that Evanilson will wear the number nine shirt.
