NESN announced on Thursday afternoon that they have hired Judd Sirott as their new play-by-play voice.

Bruins fans are undoubtedly familiar with Sirott, as he was the Bruins' radio voice for 98.5 The Sports Hub for the last seven seasons. However, he is now moving to television and will join longtime analyst Andy Brickley.

On X, Edwards had some kind words about Sirott being his replacement. Here is what the longtime Bruins voice said on the matter:

"Congratulations to Judd Sirott, the new voice of the Boston Bruins on NESN. A seamless transition and a perfect fit! A good man, a good friend, and a guy who has left his thumbprints on every rung of the ladder. I’m happy! So should be all the members of the Bruins Tribe."

It is now a new era in Bruins broadcasting history, and listening to Sirott from here will be fun.
