Boston Bruins Prospect Chris Pelosi Nets First NCAA Goal

Quinnipiac forward and Boston Bruins prospect Chris Pelosi scored his first NCAA goal Saturday in the Bobcats 6-5 loss against Maine.

Tied at four with just over 13 minutes to go in the third, Pelosi received the puck in the high slot, moved towards the net and beat the goalie short side to put the Bobcats up 5-4.

While the Bobcats ended up losing the game, Pelosi was a bright spot as he also won 10 out of 17 draws on the night.

Drafted by the Bruins in the third round of the 2023 NHL Draft, Pelosi has collected two points through three games so far this season. Before making the jump to the NCAA, he played for the USHL's Sioux Falls Stampede.

With the Bobcats sitting at a 1-2 record on the season, it might not have been the start they were looking for but each of their games have been separated by just one goal. As they gear up for a two-game set vs. New Hampshire next week, look for players such as Pelosi to step up and make an impact.
