Boston Bruins Captain Brad Marchand Excited To Play With Seth Jarvis On Team Canada

It's probably safe to say that most Carolina Hurricanes fans dislike Brad Marchand.

To be fair, that sentiment is also shared by a majority of the other 31 NHL fanbases too, but Canes fans have experienced a good bit of drama surrounding the controversial Boston Bruins captain from some of the recent playoff series between the two teams.

Whether it was Marchand mocking Justin Williams' captain status in the 2019 playoffs or Marchand's chirps at the Hurricanes regarding escrow or any of the myriad of antics, he's always been a player that's been hated on in Raleigh.

However, there seems to be something that the two sides can come together on: an appreciation for Seth Jarvis.

With the announcement of the 4 Nations Face-Off rosters on Wednesday, it was revealed that the 22-year-old forward had made Team Canada. Marchand was one of the first six players named, so it appears the two will be teammates in February.

Last night, the Bruins were playing on TNT and the panel asked Marchand which player on Team Canada's roster was he most excited to play with that he hadn't had the chance to play with before and his answer was a bit surprising.

"I'm excited to play with Jarvis," Marchand said. "I hear so many good things about him in the room and the kind of guy he is. So he's a guy that I'm looking forward to being teammates with."

So it seems no matter how big the divide, everybody loves Jarvis.
