Arsenal host Liverpool at Emirates Stadium tomorrow and appear to have been handed a double injury boost as both Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber were spotted with the rest of their teammates at the team hotel tonight.

An Arsenal fan took to X (formerly Twitter) to post pictures of both players, and it remains to be seen whether the duo will be actually involved tomorrow.

Both Saka and Timber missed training yesterday, while Riccardo Calafiori was also unavailable, and the Italian was not seen with the rest of the players tonight.

The Arsenal summer signing and Martin Odegaard will not be playing against Liverpool, but Saka and Timber could be on the bench or even in the starting XI.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta is known for his mind games and could have just made sure the duo joined their teammates at the hotel tonight to confuse Liverpool.

With William Saliba suspended for the game, having the versatile Netherlands international defender available for selection will be a huge boost.

Arteta needs to get his selection right at the back, and his option of whom to play alongside Gabriel Magalhaes will have a huge say on the game.

Ben White or Timber could be picked to play alongside the Brazilian in the heart of the defence, while Thomas Partey could be moved to right-back if need be.

Arsenal struggled without Saka in attack in their last two matches, and they could do with someone of his quality when they take on the Reds on Sunday.

The Gunners will be desperate to pick up all three points tomorrow after Manchester City moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League table following a 1-0 victory over Southampton on Saturday, and while it is still early days, failure to win against Liverpool could land a huge blow on their title chances going forward this term.
