๐ Bonkers stat highlights just how good Chris Wood has been for Forest
Chris Wood has been a revelation under Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo, and currently sits joint second in the goalscoring charts heading into the international break.
His eight goals have helped rocket Forest up to fifth in the Premier League, and now a new stat has show just how deadly the Forest no.9 has become.
According to Opta, no player has a better conversion rate in the Premier League since Nuno's first game than Wood, who is scoring roughly 1 in 3 of his shots.
That puts him ahead of the likes of Cole Palmer, Alexander Isak and Erling Haaland.
33% - Since Nuno Espรญrito Santo's first game in charge of Nottingham Forest, Chris Wood has converted 33% of his shots in the Premier League, the best ratio of any player to attempt 50+ shots in that time. Clinical. pic.twitter.com/2XXLJqUGF3
