Bologna predicted XI v Monaco: Lewis Ferguson set for spot on bench, Thijs Dallinga to start
Lewis Ferguson, returning from injury, will likely only start on the bench as they prepare to face AS Monaco in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
Ferguson is returning from injury and came off the bench over the weekend, during a win over Lecce. However, his manager is not taking any chances and so the Scottish defender is unlikely to start against the Principality club.
A player with whom Monaco are familiar, Thijs Dallinga, is however, expected to start for Bologna. The Dutchman traded Toulouse FC for Bologna in the summer and he is expected to get the nod up front. Englishman Samuel Iling-Junior, currently on loan from Premier League side Aston Villa, will likely have to settle for a place on the bench.
