Blues, Blackhawks, Wild to play in Prospect Showcase, set for this weekend at Centene Community Ice Center
The fourth annual Tom Kurvers Prospect Showcase is set for this weekend, with games to be played Friday-Sunday at Centene Community Ice Center.
The showcase will include a round-robin style format of exhibition games featuring prospects from the Blues, Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 13 -- Blues vs. Blackhawks, 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 14 -- Blackhawks vs. Wild, 6 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 15 -- Blues vs. Wild, 3 p.m.

The Blues will have one pre-showcase practice on Thursday at 10 a.m. All practice sessions and games will be free and open to the public while games will streamed live on the Blues website and app as well as broadcast on 101.1 ESPN with games to be called by Chris Kerber and Joey Vitale on Friday and Sunday, and the Blackhawks-Wild matchup to be called by the Iowa Wild’s (AHL – Minnesota) Ben Gislason and the Rockford Ice Hogs’ (AHL – Chicago) Mike Folta.
The Blues will open 2024 training camp on Thursday, September 19 at CCIC. The following night, the team will celebrate the beginning of the 2024-25 season with live musical performances and player appearances at ‘Blues and Brews’ at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery.
